Boom Mat Tape from Design Engineering is a sound damping tape used to isolate components and prevent undesirable road noises. The tape is made from 2.5mm thick butyl rubber with aluminum facing and comes in a 2-inch by 20-foot roll. After removing the clear plastic liner, the tape can be applied to most any surface, including metals, fiberglass, plastic, fabric and foam padding.
