Firestone Wide Oval Radial tire

Serving the muscle car market for decades, Coker Tire provides both authentic bias-ply tires and specialty radial tires. Rolling forward to current consumer demands, the company is bringing the classic look of a bias- ply tire into the modern performance era by creating a Firestone Wide Oval Radial tire.

Designed and manufactured in the U.S., the new Firestone tire bridges the gap between the authentic appearance of a bias-ply tire and the comfort, safety and tread wear of a modern radial tire. The revolutionary new tire shares many design features with its bias-ply predecessor, and Coker Tire will continue to produce the original-style bias-ply Firestone Wide Oval tires in addition to its new design.

Firestone Wide Oval Radial tires are available in six sizes to fit 14- and 15-inch wheels. These sizes were popular for muscle cars from 1967 through 1974, but can also be retrofitted to earlier cars from the muscle car era. Five of the sizes, excluding the FR60-15, are available with either raised white letters in original script or 3/8-inch redline sidewall. The FR60-15 is available only with raised white letters with the authentic letter design to match the F60-15 tires that came from the factory on 1970 Camaro Z/28, Corvettes, Mustangs and more.

The new bias-look Firestone Wide Oval Radial isn’t just a new tire — it’s a tire that has yesterday’s looks and today’s state-of-the-art ride. It’s ideal for a muscle car enthusiast that wants to hit the road with a high-quality radial tire, without sacrificing the authentic look of an iconic American muscle car.
