The London Cobra Show, held in London, Ohio right after Father’s Day, is way more than just a thrilling event for Cobra enthusiasts. It’s the culmination of a charity program that’s held for months in advance, with the goal of raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Over the years, various Cobra replica firms have provided a raffle car, typically at factory cost, helping the Ohio Cobra Club raise an astounding $1,125,000 to fight cystic fibrosis, all by offering raffle tickets selling for $20 each.

For 2017, Superformance will once again participate in the club’s deserving charity endeavor. This replica company, which also builds Cobras for Shelby American, follows the lead of Carroll Shelby, who established a heart fund for indigent children after he went through a transplant operation. Superformance has also worked with other organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Ronald McDonald House charities.

The Superformance Mark III Cobra that’s making the rounds at various events around the country is beautifully finished in high-depth silver with black stripes, and includes just about all the available options, including 18-inch polished aluminum wheels sporting stainless spinners and Michelin tires.

As seen on All Girls Garage in a TV episode titled “Charity Cobra Build” on the Velocity satellite channel, this Cobra boasts some serious girl power.

The Mark III was fitted with a 515 hp Roush 427 and a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed. The car also features coil-over shocks, a ZF limited-slip differential (3.45-1 ratio), Wilwood brakes, MSD Distributor and Digital 6AL.

As in years past, raffle tickets are still offered for $20 each, and the drawing will be held on June 24, 2017, at the London Cobra Show. All are invited to attend, with all sorts of activities taking place, such as cruises, parades and a gala dinner, from Thursday through Sunday of the event.
It’s a fundraiser!
