The LeMans-style fuel door kit from Scott Drake replicates the flip-open gas caps found on Shelby Cobra race cars of the 1960s. The kit bolts on to any 1964 to ’66 and 1970 to ’73 Mustang using factory holes and fuel neck, but could be adapted for use on other projects. Its versatile mounting plate and spring-loaded mechanism allow the fuel door to be mounted for opening in any direction. The fuel door mechanism is made from polished aluminum, and features stainless steel hardware and twist-on gas cap.
